Black-eyed Susan Books

We had a fantastic 2017 Voting Party in April!

2017 High School Winner:
2017-18 Book List

The Black-eyed Susan book program is a Maryland student choice award with over 60,000 participants! Students read three or more books from a nominated book lists. Then voting takes place for a favorite book in early spring. Votes will be tallied at the end of April for the whole state and a kid’s choice winner will be announced. This year the media center will be hosting an ice cream sundae voting party.

1.Read at least three books from one of the lists.
2.Sign the binders in the library media center to get credit.
3.Wait for a party invitation in April. The library staff will verify that you are eligible to come.

So start reading and listen for the date of the upcoming party.
Sorry teachers and staff! You can’t vote…….. Only students are allowed to participate!
